Conscious Care From
California to Texas

The Paw Momma

For a decade, caring for animals has been a dedicated part of my work. Over the years, I’ve worked with well over a thousand animals, each with their own personalities, routines, sensitivities, as well as ways of communicating. While most of my work focuses on dogs and cats, my experience began more broadly in California, caring for everything from goats and guinea pigs to mice, lizards, and the wonderfully unique personalities in between. That range taught me early that good care is never one-size-fits-all.

Over time, one becomes very observant of the subtle things tht often go unnoticed. How animals respond to routine, trust, environment, consistency, and the people around them. Many clients began noticing changes at home as well, often sharing that their pets seemed calmer, more settled, and easier to understand after spending time in my care. I began noticing that some pets behaved very differently depending on whether their humans were present, and that small shifts in communication, routine, or energy could sometimes create meaningful changes in behavior and overall ease. What began as attentive care organically evolved into offering deeper support beyond walks, boarding, and drop-ins alone.

Whether your pet is playful, anxious, independent, elderly, or wonderfully eccentric, I meet them where they are.

Routine Care & Support

Behavior is communication. When we look more closely at routine, consistency, trust, and the everyday dynamic between pets and their people, small shifts in awareness can often create meaningful changes at home. Through observation and personalized support, I help identify patterns that create more ease, understanding, and connection for both pets and their people.

Deeper Support for Pets & Their People

Over time, I’ve noticed that behavioral patterns in animals that appear to us as disruptive can be much better understood when we take a deeper look into what is being expressed. These unwanted behaviors have all to do with communication, consistency, routine, trust. Considering these everyday dynamics between pets and their people in congruence with small shifts in awareness can often create meaningful changes at home.

Through observation, personalized care, and one-on-one support, I help identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, confusion, overstimulation, or unwanted behaviors—creating a calmer, more connected experience for both pets and their people.
while working one on one with a pet can be very effective.. then somwthing here about how being in the at-home dynamic with them can helop me understnd deeper their relationship and build connections to their beavhiors into then bridges of trust. not sappy or domineering lol

a few kind words

Yes, Gracie and Selfie absolutely enjoyed their time with Allison! From the moment we met her, I could tell she genuinely cared about their comfort and well-being. She kept me updated, followed all instructions, and treated them like her own. It gave me so much peace knowing they were in such good, loving hands while I was away. she truly went above and beyond. She made this experience stress-free and so positive for all of us!

Allison was awesome, she was on time, communicated a lot about what my dogs were up to and how they seemed with her, and let me know immediately when there was an issue. I felt like she cared about my dogs and I didn’t really have to worry about them (which is a hard thing to do for me). Will definitley ask her to pop in next time I need someone.

After several quite a few visits over the past 2 years Allison continues to be super professional and loving to our Mocha. We always have peace of mind when Allison is taking care of Mocha.

Allison was extremely caring from the get go. She asked many questions about our pets. She sent us updates with pictures which made us feel comfortable while we were away. I especially liked the individualized approach and attention to details Allison showed us. We enjoyed Allison’s care and enthusiasm and do highly recommend her.

Snoopy has been so happy with Allison the dog whisperer! 🙂 Her work with him has been helping so much with his behavior on walks AND at home (he’s a young Jack Russell mix)
